The Pittsburgh Business Times ranks Public School Districts yearly. The ranked formula takes into account the past three years of standardized test scores (PSSA and Keystone test scores). For the past three years, Chartiers Valley has fallen to its lowest ranking of #52 (41, 47 and now 52). The data for the past 10+ years are below comparing Chartiers Valley to neighboring school districts such as Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, South Fayette, Montour, and West Allegheny. Chartiers Valley has been at bottom for the past 10+ years however Taxpayers continue to pay Chartiers Valley teachers one of the highest base salaries in Western, PA!

Millage has increased to meet the huge raises by teachers, but again, our performance had declined! Time to pay Teachers according to performance!

Below are the PSSA Math and Keystone Algebra 1 scores for the last 6 years. The previous administration let our community down. They turned a blind eye as our scores dropped while Lisa Trainor, Megan Sexton and Mitch Motani supported these failed policies of their friends. Its time for them to GO!
